The Shasta Builders’ Exchange has begun an endeavor to design, build, educate, and promote affordable, energy efficient, and green residential housing by building an interactive demonstration housing park. As you know, the need for affordable housing in our community is constantly growing. Additionally, it is critical that the local construction industry increase utilization of both existing and newly emerging technologies relative to energy efficiency and the use of nontraditional “green” construction components.
